David Bucklow is a self-taught fine artist living in Cape Town, South Africa. Born in 1969 in Gauteng, David attributes his ability to create life-like paintings to the steady hand he developed while doing live portrait sketching during his formative years. He started painting while still at high school, with his first painting, however, only being sold in 1997, when he was 28.
